Choosing a location — FAQ
Which static IP location should I choose?
Choose the country whose services need to recognise you: an Indian IP for Indian brokers and banks, a US IP for US clients and SaaS accounts, and so on. If you only need a fixed IP for whitelisting and the country doesn't matter, pick the location closest to you for the lowest latency — usually India or Singapore from Indian ISPs.
Can I change my static IP location later?
Yes. Contact support and we can move you to another location. Your new IP will be different, so remember to update any whitelists.
Are the IPs really located in those countries?
Yes. Each IP is hosted in the city listed on its location page. The only regional exception is our China location, which uses Hong Kong and Taipei rather than mainland China.
